Shira is 13 years old from Atzmon-Segev. She likes singing, dancing & acting and has taken part in many film courses. She also plays the saxophone and does jazz dancing. A year ago, Shira participated in the third season of Israel’s prime time TV singing competition for children – Music School, where she worked with various singers and composers, and played with some of Israel’s best musicians. “While participating in the show I learned I am able to face even difficult challenges, and always stick to what I think is true” she says.

Following her appearance on the show, Shira was casted into quite a few stage productions such as Musical Festival in Bat-Yam, tribute shows to the late Ofra Haza and Uzi Chitman, and The Ladino Festival. Shira also gives her voice in dubbing work, such as in the Hebrew version of Disney’s Finding Dory. Shira especially loves Israeli music, and enjoys listening to classics such as Hava Alberstein, Arik Einstein and Shlomi Shabat. “I actually don’t know what I’ll do when I grow up, but I’m sure music will always be part of me.”

Tim is 13 years old from Bat Yam. He’s an 8th grade student at the Israeli-French school Mikve Israel. In addition to Hebrew and French, he speaks Russian and English and can sing in 8 different languages. From a very young age, TimoTi’s been learning to play the piano and the organ. He writes and composes songs, takes professional voice lessons since the age of 7, and takes dance lessons in various genres – breakdance, classic, freestyle and tap dancing.
TimoTi has participated in various local performances and competitions in the past several years such as Being A Star and Family Performance on Channel 24 and international competitions such New Wave Junior, Slavic Bazaar and other international festivals in Italy, France, Czech Republic and Latvia.
TimoTi is part of the live team of Ukraine’s The Voice Kids third season broadcasted these days.
As of June 2016, TimoTi is part of the cast of the Israeli rendition of the musical Billy Elliot. He plays the character of Billy’s best friend, Michael. The rehearsals took about 10 months, and the show is a huge commercial hit in Israel. TimoTi is awarded praises and applause every night.
Besides the performing arts, TimoTi enjoys playing soccer, swimming, climbing walls and going on family trips. “But most of all I love to sing and dance, be on stage and entertain the crowd in front of me.”

Meet Christina Magrin

maltaChristina Magrin has won the right to represent Malta this year in Valletta! She is 13 years old and has only been taking professional singing lessons since October 2013, alhough
she has been singing ever since she was born. At three years of age she was chosen to play the part of ‘Dora the Explorer’ and sing a solo as part of a University of Malta Theatre Production ‘Infanta’ under the direction of Dr Isabelle Gatt where she experienced her first song recording at Mro Philip Vella. Since then she solo-sings regularly at Mass where her mother plays the organ, and has taken part in various theatrical productions and pageants. She took Royal Schools of Music piano lessons with Ms C Amodio where she always obtained Distinction results. She also takes ballet Royal Academy of Dance lessons at Ms J Rummolino where she has also always obtained distinction results. Christina also studies vocal technique under her mother’s tuition and has recently obtained her vocal Grade 8 level with the Trinity College of London this year where she has achieved the highest distinction ever achieved. She was also the youngest student to ever take this exam.

Meet Alexa

alexa12-year-old Alexa, lives in Brisbane with her family, who moved to Australia from Auckland in New Zealand.

Alexa began contemporary and jazz training when only 5 years old. In 2012 she appeared in an amateur production of ‘Oliver’ alongside her brother, Aidan, another budding singer/actor, giving her a real taste of performing on stage. She has performed in the Sydney Schools Spectacular and other events supporting children’s charities. Alexa loves her sport and over the past 7 years found time to attend the young Surf Life Savers ‘nippers’ at her local surf club on the Gold Coast and she has recently taken up netball.

At only 10 years old, in 2014, Alexa captured Australia’s attention when she won ‘The Voice Kids Australia’, with Delta Goodrem as her mentor. Without having any formal vocal training she sang live in front of millions of viewers. She is now signed to Universal Music Australia.
